Sarah E. Hyers a third generation horse woman has successfully shown from Miami to New York. Sarah grew up on Little Shaker Farm a Hunter Ã¢â‚¬â€ś Jumper show barn in south Florida. Showing on the “Sunshine CircuitÃ¢â‚¬Âť her father Clayton A. Embly was an AHSA rated judge in both the hunter and jumper divisions. Sarah has trained under George Morris, Bert de Nemethy, Raphael Portello and Frank Chapot, and Shelley Keane.
Through the years she has campaigned horses for many clients including Georgianne Thompson-Space, Sarah Stillwell, Jenny Moss, Jane McNeil King, Tanya Hunter, Whispering Palm Farm, FL, Kathleen and Grady Rawls of Mount Dragon Ponies, Joseph OR, Randy and Amy McCoy of Champlain Isle, VT, Darleen Morton of Morton Welsh Show Stables Sharon, Ontario, Canada.
Sarah and her husband Bill founded Screven Equine Center LLC was the parent company of Fox Croft Farm, EMS/Horspital, SEC Seminole Feed &Tack, Embly Racing Stable and Southern Equine Consultants. Owning and/or operating 4 equestrian centers with direct responsibly of up to 125 show horses and ponies, privately owned pleasure horses and 30 full time showing students on the local and rated circuits. Bill and Sarah sold the original farm Screven Equine Center LLC and have formed SEC Inc and have settled in to a quieter life while still maintaining Southern Equestrian Consultants working with the some of the nation’s top equestrian community developers, State and County parks and recreations departments and private farm owners assisting them building their “dreamÃ¢â‚¬Âť horse projects. Sarah has had the pleasure to have worked with many of our industry professionals and friends such as Eddie and Kate Maple, Wendy Peralta, Ron Dantus, Jack Towell, Liza Towell-Boyd, Lee Cone, Bob and Pam Bell and Petra Wilder.
