Sitter Downs is located 30 to 25 miles SE of Kansas City, MO. Across the road is Blue & Gray Park; 1,700+ acres; no motorized vehicles allowed. Blue & Gray offers a variety of trail riding, through the meadows, hay fields, or down into the creek crossings.
Kelly Sitter Lance specializes in "trail horse training and sales", whether they are quarters, apps, Arabians, paints, foxtrotters, TWalkers, standardbreds, Rocky Mountain - she has ridden many different breeds.
Your horse will be "trail ridden" at Blue and Gray Park. This is a good park for working a horse. You can ride through the hay meadows, around the crop fields, or you can drop off into the woods, cross the creeks, up and down the hills, turkeys and deer can jump out. Your horse will definitely get a work out.
