Specializing in training for family, ranch and show use. Horses are trained to excel in ranch horse versatility, trail, and western pleasure. Colt starting is available with Natural Horsemanship methods.All breeds accepted. Gaited breeds welcomed for versatility training. No gaiting aids are used. Training can be specified to meet the requirements for FQHR, or AQHA events but are not limited to them. With show and or sale prep. Available. Ranch Discounts for two or more horses. Facilities include; Barn, Roping & Cutting Arena, safe round pen, hot walker, and the use of over 1,000 acres of riding ground, cattle and wildlife exposure. References readily available. Experienced, gentle and affective: The training program is based on consistent, calm and gentle hand, with patience and common sense utilized. I use a combination of natural horsemanship, and my own tried and true experience that get results. I do not break horses, rather encourage a sound and confident horse that understands the task at hand and is ready, willing and able to work for you and your specific needs. I enjoy what I do, and am dedicated to you and your horses. 100% client satisfaction record. Horses are trained 6 days a week with Sundays off. Located in S.E. Oklahoma. North of Paris, Texas. In Atoka, 11 miles west of Antlers. Silk Oak Ranch specializes in breeding, raising, training, and showing foundation bred Quarter Horses. Members/Breeders in good standing with AQHA, FQHR, CaFQHR, NFQHA.
