Shimmering Acres Horse Boarding for 250.

Here at Shimmering acres we can offer your horse complete comfort and everything they could possibly want. We have a 80 acre farm located in Howardsville Virginia, 45 minutes outside of charlottesville. We can offer a Medium size grass ring to pratice any form of riding, and miles of trails. We accept all breeds and genders of horses except stallions, the reason for this is because we do not want the other horses, or the owners to be uncomfortable. The horses can easily be separated if you are not comfortable with them being in the same pasture. They will have plenty of cool woods to escape the summer heat, and a fresh stream to cool off in. There are two run in sheds to escape any storms or light showers. ( we do not have a stall barn)
We also will halter break foals, and slowly introduce young horses to tack, our small size enables us to give each horse individualized attention and we let the horses learn at there own pace. We are also available to work your horses lightly if wanted. If you are looking for just a calm quiet place to keep your horse, Shimmering Acres would be the perfect fit!
