Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky, lies 106 acres of fields, streams, wild life, and farm life where you can relax and enjoy the gifts and wonders of nature. River Glen Farm sits on the banks of the gentle flowing Chaplin River and is surrounded by stone edge fences that add to the scenic beauty of our property.
Activities include camping, canoeing or kayaking; rock hunting, participating in archeology searches or just spending the day hanging out with the staff and feeding and caring for the animals. Our list of animals include, twenty three horses consisting of Friesians, Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses, Tennessee Walkers, Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses; a Red Waddle hog named Shrek; four goats who love treats; Montana the Giant Irish Draft horse; and Stormy a miniature horse.
