Reynolds Spanish Mustangs

Hi, I'm Dave Reynolds. I have been preserving the true Spanish Mustang horse for over 30 years. When I say true Spanish Mustang I mean before they were crossed with other types of horses.

Residing in the Southern Black Hills, near Hot Springs, I have a breeding mare stock of 20 mares and my core of breeding stallions numbering 5. Altogether, I have 35 horses in total, which includes the ones for sale from new foals to various ages.... Basically, I breed my horses in a natural environment. They are not stabled or corralled. They are all in large open pastures, in herds, living the real social life that is necessary for good temperament and social skills. This results in horses that have great personalities and curiosity, which is so important when it comes to training and human interaction.

When a horse is purchased I halter break him or her for easy trailer loading. There is the cost of the coggins test added to the price. Every horse we have is eligible for registration in the Spanish Mustang Registry. Also, the health papers are an added cost. The health and coggins together run about $35.00 in total.
