Rancho Vilasa

Rancho Vilasa is a small, family ranch in "retirement mode." At one time, we raised, trained, showed, and sold fine Peruvian Paso horses. The ranch website (linked to this page) gives the flavor of what we did when we were very active. Right now, we do not offer stallion services, training, lessons, trail rides, or anything a commercial stable offers. We have occasional horses for sale. These are our personal riding horses.

Since those days, we've said goodbye to our Peruvian herd and expanded into Missouri Fox Trotters and a gaited mule.

We may offer some of our equines for sale, if we can part with them. While we chew on the decision to sell them (or not), I thought I'd offer you a bit about me and my activities.

My joy these days is in riding my mule and the Missouri Fox Trotters. And living with horses.

When I'm not doing that, I'm writing. I am an Amazon bestselling, award winning author of twelve books. They have won 31 national awards in competitions for independent authors. Some of these were the largest and most prestigious contests that exist for indies.
