LOOKING UP FARM is a small boarding facility in southern Dutchess County New York. We specialize in the retired and or semi retired horse but all are welcome. We have manure free pastures with run in sheds. Trail riders have the use of hundreds of acres of beautiful trails. We are located close to Union Vale Equestrian Facility and Southern Dutchess Horseman's Association. Reasonable board includes second cutting hay, grain and warm beet pulp in winter. All equine residents are fed separately and checked twice a day. For horses who cannot chew hay we have a special diet to maintain weight or gain weight if needed. Heated water tank in winter. There are fans in run-in-sheds in summer. The care is conscientious and consistent. We are Vet recommended.
NOTE* Our horses are moving to Montana as of August 2012. There is an option of leasing the whole farm (4-5 horses only) for $1800. per month everything included. Happy Trails!!
