The training approach at Grace Park Farm is based primarily on the principles and standards established by the British Horse Society, an organization recognized by the equestrian federations of 32 countries worldwide as the gold standard for ensuring the welfare of both horse and rider. The fundamental objective is to develop a strong foundation in control and flatwork before tackling the technical aspects of jumping.
Focusing on the disciplines of show jumping, eventing and dressage, my goal for every client is to develop confident, quality horses, and bold, correct riders. My experience extends from being a pony clubber and competing in the hunters as a child, training in France and Ireland, to competing in Wellington, FL under the guidance of Olympians Joe Fargis and more recently in 2012, Margie Engle, as well as International Grand Prix rider/trainer, Mauro Atzeri. The core of my teaching and training philosophy was developed while furthering my training with the British Horse Society in New York with expert instruction from Irish trainer, Major Paul Lindsay.
Lessons are available for both children and adults on our horse or yours. Haul-ins are welcome.
We attend many shows throughout the year and occasionally have horses and ponies available to lease for such events.
