I have been working with horses for 13 years. My first job was as a trail guide, but I did much more than that, I gave riding lessons, helped with the pony parties and summer camps, as well as helped to take care of all of the horses. I have been working in the horse business for 6 years. We often get unwanted horses that we rehabilitate and find new loving families. My first priority is for everyone to be safe, horse and rider. At our small farm in Brighton, TN we offer lessons and Riding camps. For an hour lesson with your own horse we charge $15 (if you bring the horse to us) or you can come to the farm and use one of our horses for $20/hour. I do not train horses by making them do something, I believe in ASKING my horses to do things in a way that they understand. All horses that I work with are trained with a natural method that encourages them to use the thinking side or their brain verses the reactive. As of right now I am not training horses, but I will help you train your horse. We have do Girl Scout camps and would be willing to do camps for other types of groups as well. We also do pony parties, were we bring horses to your event. We normally bring a miniature pony for babies and a quarter horse, however if you want a third horse we will bring another horse. The cost for 2 horses will be $200 or for 3 horses $250 for the first 2 hours, depending on the distance of the event from us. For information and pricing of large events please call.
