From your all around family safe trail horse to your top contesting horse we are here to help train/teach you and your horse to excel in the area you are needing help with from beginning to end. Natural horsemanship methods combined with humane training techniques that work best for each horse. My extensive background has allowed me to understand various techniques, variety of horses and cater to each individual horse and owner. Techniques are chosen for safety, low stress, and efficiency. Every horse is different and learns a different way, different amount of time, and no two horses are the same. The key is to have the patience and persistence to help the horse understand and learn what your asking them to do. Finding each horse's natural talent is one of the most important factor's in success.
I/we also work with many so called "Problem Horses" Problem horses are horses who usually are past abuse/neglect cases. These horses are usually scared and have been physically and mentally abused to the point they are no longer trusting of humans. This also includes horses who have learned when they do a certain bad habit they get out of riding or being handled by humans, this is normally due to lack or training or training that was done to hard and to fast. Another common cause of a problem horse is one who has/had a medical problem causing pain when being ridden.
Problems we work with include but not limited to horses that wont load or unload easily from a trailer, rushing into and out of gates/stall doors, bucking, rearing, biting, tying, bolting, spookiness, haltering, bridling, saddling, fearful of humans, fearful of cars/moving vehicles, horses that have never been handled, buddy sour, ring sour, gate sour and much much more.
