Equine Specialties is an Equestrian Facility located on the outskirts of Hanover Ontario along the South Saugeen River that runs the entire length of the property. 125 acres of picturesque property consisting of newly planted grassland, beautiful tree lined river with plenty of room to ride. This newly built state of the art facility commenced in 2010 and currently houses 21 - 10 x 12 matted stalls, two wash bays, a large outdoor riding arena, three large newly fenced paddocks and lounge area.

Training
Trainer – Truman Alexander was born and raised in Oklahoma’s horse country. I learned the importance and value of a good horse, and working with such trainers as Fred Sieferd and Marty Roberts I learned the fundamentals I needed to become a better trainer and teacher. Combining the strengths of both trainers I have developed my own distinct way of training that focuses not only the abilities and development of the equine but keeping the safety and welfare of the horse as the upmost importance. Focusing on the needs of the horse and owner, I allow the horse to learn at his own pace while maintaining a visual of the achieved goal. With this in mind I encourage owners to come and observe their horse in progress to further educate and insure a quality product. Below is a price list and what I specialize in.


Training $875 + HST per. month

· Includes, indoor 10’ x 12’ matted stall with built in locker and 10’ x 30’ run off the back.

· Hay, water, & grain.

· Stall cleaned twice daily.

· Tri. hoof trimming.

· Daily grooming.

· Blanketed nightly.

· Access to spacious lobby & amenities.





Training categories include:



Reining

Cutting (add $100 per. month for cattle fees.)

Western Pleasure

Working Cow Horse (add $100 per. month for cattle fees.)

Halter

Ranch Horse (add $100 per. month for cattle fees.)

Trail

Team Penning (add $100 per. month for cattle fees.)

Pleasure

Versatility (add $100 per. month for cattle fees.)





All fees must be paid up front. Each horse must be up to date on shots and vet check done prior to entering the facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone. You can call for any further information. Members of the facility will only be required to pay the difference between the training cost and the existing boarding cost they are currently paying. ( Example: Member package $875 - $225 = $650 + HST per month for training )
