Blue Fire Moon Farm is a breeder of Pure Spanish (Pura Raza Española-PRE) and Spanish-cross horses located in Driftwood, Texas, about 30 miles southwest of downtown Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Our goal is to breed athletic horses with the potential to excel in dressage and other sport horse disciplines while preserving the essential nature of the Pure Spanish horse.
We own or lease six Pure Spanish broodmares and two sport pony mares (Section A Welsh Pony). I also stand one Pure Spanish stallion, Odilon JIM (http://www.stallionsnow.com/stallion-ad-384783.htm).
All of my Spanish horses have been approved for breeding by the Cria Caballar de España or PRE Mundial, the new U.S.-based registry for the PRE horse.
All of my horses are straight-moving, very forward, and while most have much less "knee" than is typically seen in the Spanish horse, their movement is unmistakably Spanish.
We also offer boarding to a limited number of retired horses.
