Big Creek Cattle Company is located just 15 miles east of Durant, Oklahoma in the town of Bokchito. Big Creek runs right through the middle of it on one side of the highway and Blue River is the southern border on the other side. We are a family owned and operated ranch consisting of 1,300 acres where it is our goal to raise quality AQHA Quarter Horses. Our mares and foals carry the bloodlines of some of the great stallions such as: Doc Bar, Doc OLena, Peppy San Badger, San Jo Lena, Docs Hickory, Hickoryote, Doc Quixote, Sonny Dee Bar, Okey Dokey Dale, Dash For Cash, Master Hand, Docs Sug, Doc Clabber, Commander King, Grays Starlight, and King P-234.
We have Horses For Sale at all times!
We also sell Registered Commercial Black Brangus bulls and replacement heifers.
We've kept heifers and changed bulls until we've established a herd with a fairly narrow genetic base, which is centered around CCR Pathfinder 152W, Exacto, and Excel. The cattle we raise are functional, easy keeping, gentle animals that are a pleasure to be around.
