Buckaroo Horsemanship is a full service equestrian resource located in Agua Dulce, California with over 20 years of training experience and 36 years of riding experience. We value and promote a traditional buckaroo, vaquero, or "Californios" style of starting, training, and working horses and rider.

Training Philosophy- We train at the horse's pace. We start all horses in a bosal to build better communications and to create a light and responsive horse. Once we have a solid foundation in the round pen and basic communication has been established (right turn, left turn, stop), we open the gate and ride out to experience the world. We listen to horse and see what the horse is most suited for - reining, cutting, roping, trail, or ranch work. We allow the horse to see that there is a purpose to what we are asking them to do. We build a partnership, not a dictatorship, and in doing so the horses we train give 110%.?
Rates-? Rates vary. Rates depend on training needed and the amount of training the horse has already received. ?Monthly training fees include a fixed amount charged for training, conditioning, or behavioral modification and board (two feeding per day, water, and grooming). Veterinary charges, farrier and other equine specialist fees, or supplements are at an additional cost or are the responsibility of owner.
