the handlers at DRR have a therapeutic riding horse-back program called SHE (Students and Horses Excel) Therapy. SHE was originally founded by Willa Rose to help girls who came from abusive and hard pasts. SHE has since expanded to help at risk boys also. DRR has several voluteers, including me, who want to help these children and be with the horses. I have been riding for about 5 years and I think that I am ready for my own horse. I would love to get more into a jumping profession, and I think it would be great to have a horse of my own that I could bond with.
