Vermillion - a 7 yr old Bay Gelding by the famous Sire Emilion. 16.1 hds with balanced, elevated paces, a co-operative and trainable mind. He is very brave and not concerned with anything you point him at. His sire, Emilion is a product of lineage 1298, one of the most prominent families in Holstein breeding. Via the stallion Farnese the line goes back to the mare Fiance (Ladykiller xx), a full sister of the influential showjumping horse progenitor, Lord. Impressive and successful lineage of showjumping. Vermillion recently competed at the "A" rated USEF, The Final Chase at Great Southwest Autumn Classic in Houston (Nov/09) jumping 3â 3â. He was honest, brave, and did very well for a first time competing in this type of event. A video is available. He previously has schooled at a jumping event for exposure (May 09) and has competed at USEF Level One Dressage. He is currently trained by Professional â Shane George of Showsports.
