Additional Comments: A real sweetheart, Bodie is a lovely horse that was given to me as a gift. Though I have tried, he is just a bit too much horse for a beginner of my level of experience. Bodie has decent ground manners and comes to you when called in the field. He was trained to ride English, but has been ridden western for the past few years. With a more experienced rider and more regular work, Bodie could make a good amateur or intermediate show horse. He is a little spooky for a trail horse, but can easily be taken on trail rides with an experienced rider. He does not have the headset or the slow gaits to be a good western show horse. Bodie's price is negotiable. I will also consider a trade for a quiet, sound trail horse suitable for a beginner. |
