Troy is a handsome, friendly, gangly yearling, who is smart, curious, and trainable with a willing mind and a great temperament. Last year he was black. This year it looks like he is shedding out into a dark bay/brown. His full sister was started under saddle by her teenage owner; no buck! We expect Troy to be just as easy. His sire is a 16-hand Oldenburg/Paint cross, and his dam is a 15.2hand Quarterhorse/Draft cross. We expect Troy to mature over 16 hands. Troy has had groundwork basics including a circingle, long-lining, round-penning, leading, and he ties, cross-ties, and stands for the vet, farrier, grooming, etc. He lives in a large paddock with other yearlings, and he gets along great with other horses.
