HERD REDUCTION:Bess is a gorgeous mare. She is ApHCC registered and has appaloosa characteristics, just no spots. This mare stands a good 15.2hh and has muscle galore. She consistantly produces great foals with awesome dispositions and conformation. Not only that, but Bess sports not one, but TWO multiple world and national champions ON her papers, one of which is her SIRE. We have owned this mare since 1998 and she has earned her keep. Bess was a range mare before we bought her and was halter broke as a 4 year old. She is hard to catch, but once caught is a model of excellence. Bess has never been hurt, never needs her feet trimmed (they do themselves) and is a great mother. Bess stamps all of her foals with the same great hip, head and tons of brains.Bess foaled a gorgeous solid chestnut colt in 2008 that will eventually roan out. She has been left open by our choice for 2009.
