"PJ" is a fancy little cross between two nice hunter horses. His dam was an a successful hunter mare and his sire is still in his prime and being shown and trained for hunters and is doing 3'6'' free. He has a wonderful temperament and is not spooky nor skittish. He has excellent ground manners and is quiet enough for kids to work around. He leads, ties for hours, loads in step ups and ramps, ponies across large logs and rivers, stands for vet and farrier, walks over tarps, has had some roundpen work at w/t (no more than 5-10 minutes at a time), and will be introduced to clippers soon as we approach spring. |
