Duke is a draft/curly colt, born August 3, 2007. He is a buttermilk buckskin, with tight curls, and a very friendly disposition. His dam is Dolly, a well-built draft horse. Dolly stands 14.3hh, and weighs easily over 1500lbs. She is VERY stocky, and compact, and has a wonderful tempermeant. The sire is an ABCR Fredell curly stallion; FFS MacSimitar Legacy. Mac is a beautiful palomino extreme, standing 13.3hh, with a stocky (Fredell line) build, and a very kind tempermeant. Duke would be an excellent sporthorse/pony prospect, and is already showing his parents' personality traits...calm, quiet, and super friendly. He is very curious and is already walking up to anyone who comes in his pasture.
Duke is a one of a kind colt, and will make a great horse. He has everything going for him; conformation, color, and curl, and his gentle disposition will make him well-suited for a variety of riders. Whether you're looking for your next family horse, or a sporthorse, Duke is the one. He can be triple registered; ICHO, CSI, and ABRA.
