Additional Comments:
We foxhunt, he doesn't! He is an awesome mover and horse in general with tons of potential that needs a job and regular work. When working with him he loves to be pushed to new limits, and if he doesn’t understand he tries really hard until he does! We have been working with Fenwick for about a year and a half now, and have come to the sad conclusion that he does not suit our purposes - foxhunting, and cross country riding - although he is wonderful to work with in rings and indoors where he seems to feel unthreatened. Fenwick is wonderful to work with on the ground and will do practically anything for a treat. He loves being groomed and to just get attention in any way. Riding wise we have mostly been doing low level dressage with him at the walk, trot, and canter. He hasn’t had any balance or soundness issues in the time that we have had him. If he finds the right home, I (we) really think that he could be a really cool horse for the right rider and discipline – not foxhunting/cross country riding. Fenwick is a horse with a history, he needs a rider who is working with a trainer consistently or who is an experienced rider! (I am in college and would love to take him down to school with me for hunters, but we can't afford the high board of keeping him at the schools stable, if it gives you any idea of how much we would love to keep him – he is a ton of fun to ride and really loves be pushed.) If you e-mail me I have tons of pictures of him and would love to tell you more about him!
